Thanks folks for years people fed ducks and swans with bread but recently have heard snippets that it´s not good for them not really sure why but I wouldn´t want to be harming them

Last year lots of birds died due to the harsh weather. I always feed them Liz. If they are not hungry they wont eat it anyway.

i dont know what moorhend ducks ect liketo eat but bread is what ppl normally feed the ducks with....

Do they look ill coz if they do i would feed them....... if they dont leave them for a few days and if they´re coping well they must be getting food :)

while i have no knowledge of a birds nutritional needs..on a humanitarian level..i would say to feed them. in winter, food is hard to come by..they would need it now more than ever. that is just my gut reaction
