Small Animal Boarding have decided to offer small scale, small animal boarding from home! v. exciting. will never make much in the way of money as we don´t have the room to take in many animals and want to give as much individual attention as possible but we always found / find it so hard to arrange holiday care for animals so thought...why not offer it to others! www.hastingssmallanimalholidays.co.uk anyone else do this or thinking of doing so? what do you all do with your small furries when you go away? From the topic: Comments Post a comment in this discussion: 08 Mar 2011 12:26 thanks eric :-) definately something to consider. am not going all out on the advertising as its on such a small scale that it will never bring in the mega bucks but have put the site on a few animal oriented free web listings and will put up flyers locally. not sure where i would advertise for people who are actually holidaying in the area? i did want to get on the Rabbit Welfare Association bunny boarding list but to do that you have to take out 2 adverts in rabbiting on mag which cost £80 + VAT :-( oh well. will see how it goes. 04 Mar 2011 17:01  Sarah, Wishing all the best in this project. You are too far away from the Midlands for me to bring Portia. However, have you thought of advertising for owners who holiday on the South coast to bring their animals with them for you to board? Might bring in a few customers (I hate the word "Punters") & get your name established. |
