Slugs and snails and puppy dog tails...

First summer with Duke having to think what can I use on the garden that will kill the slugs but not harm pets? Last summer lots of building work going on so garden was neglected. What do you guys use to keep the slugs at bay? I’m even attempting to grow a few veggies, well that’s if the hairy four legged digger doesn’t get their first :-)

Given that our Millie is rather partial to a beer and/or red wine given half a chance, I´d suggest it fairly likely Duke will enjoy a snifter too, so not sure how you´d get round that one !

I was going to suggest the beer trick. It does work. Try not to use "normal" slug killer pellets. Wild Life eat the remains and get poisoned as well. Best of luck.
