Lost my baby :´( I feel so lost right now. My 8 yr old cat ´Dieago´ passed away in my arms early hours of this morning, I couldnt even get him to the emergency vet in time he wouldnt have made it. He was my 1st cat and 1st pet since leaving home and was such a character Im going to miss our cuddles and him being on my shoulders purring in my ear as we´d walk round the house n garden. More obedient than any dog I know! I swear he thought he was one...its not even a day and yet I miss him sooooo much. Took him to a place call Sandhole to have him cremated so he´s coming back home where he belongs x :´( From the topic: Comments Post a comment in this discussion: 12 Nov 2011 21:45  I am so sorry for the loss of your lovely cat. I do know how you feel. I lost my Pip aged 2 and a half - she was there at 4.30 having a cuddle and some biscuits in the bedroom, when I got up at 6.30 she had died of a heart attack and I could do nothing. I have had other cats live to 22 years, so it was a shock and unfair to lose Pip - the only consolation I have is that is was quick and she probably didn´t know much about it - and although her life was short, she was loved every minute of it. I make a donation every christmas in memory of Pip. Let yourself grieve properly for your little friend, it will get easier to bear in time. Good wishes. Give yourself plenty of time to grieve and I am sure that when you look back at pics of your cat and remember the happy times, you will feel glad that you got to know him so well over those years. Buying another cat cannot of course replace him but I hope you will feel better soon. My cat Daisy will be 4 years old in December and she is my first pet, so I can´t imagine how I would feel when she has to die one day. I am concentrating on being the best owner that I can be for the time being to give her a happy life. |
