It sounds like such a special holiday and i´m really pleased that you got to do it, i think after everything you really needed it. The sun shining down sounds like a great moment and i like to believe that those arent with us anymore still have ways to contact us.

It was more of a pilgrimage than a holiday, Charlotte... After all that´s happened, I felt the need for some ´healing time´ & ´going home to Cornwall´ seemed the logical thing to do... Most of the time was spent walking - visiting old haunts & taking pics. I have wonderful memories of time spent there with my sister & the fun we had. One evening, I took 2 rosebuds from my friends garden, went to the beach as the sun was going down, waded into the sea & placed them in the water where we used to swim & surf together. The tide took them out &, as I turned away, a shaft of bright sunlight hit the sea for several seconds then disappeared again. Logic tells me it was only the sun breaking through a cloud, but my heart tells me that it was my sister saying ´goodbye´ & telling me that she´s ok....
