We especially wish to thank all our members and true boxer lovers who have had faith in our cause and helped and supported us in every way. No matter how small, encouraging us to struggle on. The good and rewarding news is that we now only have 25 dogs left in kennels to find homes for. Unfortunately, most of these dogs are between 5 years to 7 years but they are still in need of you and deserve a few years of comfort and love. All of these dogs have good temperament which is very encouraging so if any of you out there can give a home to one of these slightly older dogs we will welcome you with open arms. Rosemary Westbrook Kent Dog Coordinator 06 May 2011 21:40 URGENT APPEAL A breeder in Kent is closing down leaving a large number of Boxers needing rescue spaces. We will be taking approximately 75 dogs into our care this week. We have to board these dogs in commercial kennels as we do not have our own. Our kennel bill is going to be in the region of £700 per day! All of the dogs will need to be vet checked, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and neutered at the very least. HCBW is committed to help any Boxer that needs us, but this amount in one go is going to be a huge drain on our financies. We are appealing to you, our loyal supporters, to help us raise sufficient funds to ensure all of these dogs are safe, receive any treatment they need, and rehabilitated so they can quickly move on to loving forever homes. Any donation big or small will make a difference. We can accept donations via PayPal or a cheque made payable to "Home Counties Boxer Welfare" can be sent to any of our committee members. In both cases please put a note saying the Donation is for "Kent Dogs". Thank you so much for your continued support, together we can ensure the future for these Boxers and so many others like them. 23 Jun 2010 21:22 Great news, the boxer that needed collecting from Scotland has now been sorted, the couple from the temporary foster home are doing the whole trip, what stars.
