thax for the advise you give me 3 months ago i havent been on her for a bit i took my rottie to the vets she has hip displasia but the vet said at the moment not to worry as it is not to wear she needs pain killers but she will later on in her life thanks for the advice

hi i have a 13 year oldwestie , i had a 6 month old but she died, 13 year old got on great with her, then 13 year old was being depressed , spoke to vet an she advised me to get another pup for her, so i got 1 had her 3 months now, but all 13 year old does is growl at her an bites her at times wat do i do??

Just wondered if you had a opion on giving the Molar Plaque Off dental treatment. Iv started giving it to my cats as I couldnt take the scratches anymore from trying and failing to clean their teeth and they have started to look very yellow! Do you think it is any good or is there something else out there that would work better? Iv purchased a small pot to try out at first but the reviews of it online are not much help.

Dear Cat - don´t you sometimes get the hump when people use the message forum for help and sit and wait for an answer rather than get their obviously seriously ill "falling over cat" or "leg hanging off dog" etc STRAIGHT to a vet?

Dear Will - I help at Battersea and Celia Hammond with hundreds of abandoned dogs puppies every year - your question might have been how old should they be to get neutered? There are so many waiting for homes or dumped off because people with "good homes" don´t want them anymore.

hello :) is it ok to have an around about 9 month old male jack russell and around a 6 month old female jack russell mate and have pups? A few will be kept with the mum and/or dad and others will get good homes. Just wondering and also. If a dog jumps over a dog all the time and theres nothing you can do to stop it as everytime you let him go he runs right back. Is it a bad thing if she tries to snap at his neck? Not sure if it´s in a playful way. Please get back to me asap it will be really appreciated. x

my 6 year old working lurcher has become laim with a big hard lump on his back left leg just above the hoc. Dont know how it happened it just appeared and he cant put any weight on it. Have tryed touching it an it dosent hurt him when i touch it. Its not his tendons as they run behind the lump and are find so i dont know what it can be?

a little help please spats is ten and got dental today the tooth beign taken out splintered and the vet had to drill it but its still not out other bits were done inc scale and polish. but spats is still not right he is petrafied quiet doesnt want to be touched wont speak i no that sounds strange he is just sitting in the dark in the middle of the floor in the spare room since 5pm he has eatn a very smal ammount havent seen him drink and has not used the toilet i just want to no if this is normal and also if there is any after care as all i was told was to offer food when we got home plz plz plz nettie xxx

i have a 18month rottie called tilly when she goes to get up her we hear a noise like clicking noise coming from her back legs could u please tell me what you think it could be xx

Hi Cat,

I just wanted to say thanks for all your advice you gave me about my elderly hamster, Sooty. He lost his fight on Saturday, both me and my vet agreed it was time, he had lost weight since the Monday when he had last been at the vets, and on Saturday morning I just knew it was time. He had a good life though so whilst I´m upset, I´m a little relieved it´s over for him :o)

Thanks for answering my post about my no eyed guinea pig. I took to vets today and she really does not have eyes :( bless. But she is perfect otherwise so i will be keeping her and will post some photos up soon
