Cara

Went to the beach today with my Mum. We do this every saturday while Kyle is at stageschool. We have three hours to ourselves and always come to the beach. It is great there as we meet lots of different dogs. We hadn't been there long and I was happily playing with my new ball when a German Shepherd came to play. This was a huge hairy thing with no tail coz apparently a fox bit its tail when it was a puppy and it had to get cut off. anyway, it mugged me for my ball, now I am happy to share but this big mutt was a bit on the selfish side. We had a run around and ran into the sea and it prompty dropped the ball. That was the end of that. i tried to get mum to go in for it but she was having none of it. We walked on a bit and met another frien, an Italian Spinone, very classy dog, he has a new friend who is a Labradoodle, very cute. We then encountered a football team out training which gave Mum something to watch for a bit as we walked along. They seemed a bit nervous of me actually, one actually dropped his ball hee hee. I didn't go near them I just strutted a bit which usually does the trick. It was really windy and cold and Mum complained quite a lot about her ears getting cold and the sand getting in her mouth. We then met a Black Russian Terrier who is absolutely huge. He is quite a lot of fun actually. I then met my best wee pal, a jack russell, he is really funny, he thinks he is a big dog and i make fun of him by jumping over him and rolling him over and he gets really mad at me and tries to bite my ears but he cant reach. Everybody laughs coz he really does think he is huge. I think he has that small dog syndrome thing. We made our way back to the car after about 2 hours. there is a nice pup at the end of the beach so we always go there, they give me a nice bowl of water and Mum and I share a bacon roll.
I love Saturdays, the beach is just the best place. It has been a busy day as we went up to do the horses in the afternoon. I have another Jack Russell mate there called Buzz. It has been a tiring day so I am off to bed now. Night all xxxxx Cara xxxxxx

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

How are you sis? How are you after your op? I hope everything's going well and you've managed to have a little run? Did you get many cards this morning? I had none but the postman hadn't been when I left for work so when I get home tonight I bet we'll not be able to push the front door open with all my cards posted through! My Mum gave me a big slobbery kiss, I love getting fussed over. I like to make a little funny noise when I get fussed and it gets me even more attention and I sound really cute! I'm just so irresistible!

Anyway sis, hope you're doing really well. I'd better go just now as I'm off to see if there's any rabbits about - they love giving me the run around!

Hello Sis!!

How are you?! How are you since your operations? Are you still managing to play on it a bit and get really spoilt?! It's good that you're getting out and about on the lead. Give your legs a nice stretch! Are you looking forward to Santa coming?! I have already seen Santa. Mum has sat him on my stairs along with lots of fairy lights and he says Ho Ho Ho everytime I walk past him. I was a bit naughty the other day though. I had enough of his ho, ho, ho-ing and I sneakily picked him up by his hat, shook him and pulled some of his beard off! Mum gave me a bit of a telling off but she was laughing at them same time! She knows I'm only playing!

I have also found my Christmas presents! Mum came upstairs looking for me and found that I had managed to sniff them out in a cupboard, I had opened the cupboard door with my paw and had my head shoved in some carrier bags containing all my new toys and treats!!!! I am soooooo excited and I can't wait til the 25th!

Well sis, if I don't speak to you before Christmas, I wish you and your Mum and Dad and Kyle a very Merry Christmas and hopefully I'll see you next year for a race!!

Oh No!! My stupid mum has only just logged in and told me that you've left me a message!! How are you sis????? I hope that you're OK and your feeling good after the op. You'll probably feel so tired. Try and play on it as much as you can to get extra, extra fuss and attention!! We doggies are good at that aren't we?? How's your Mum finding it sleeping downstairs?? I bet she's tired too, poor thing. They do spend a lot of time worrying and fussing over us don't they? When is your next op?

News gets round fast about my 1st at the show the other week! I was very pleased! I like that show as I'm not up against Dobe's, I'm up against lots of breeds! I stood so well for my Mum as she made me some liver cake for the first time ever! A nice lady at a show told her how to make it and it's the best ever! She was nearly sick when she was baking it though and had all the windows and doors open - I liked the smell though! At the show I was up against huskies, Boxers and a Bullmastiff so I was very pleased to get a first. When mum took me back to our corner I jumped up and down and shook my head about! When I got home I ran in the house with my red rosette to show my Dad - he was very proud!

How are you? My mummy has told me all about your knees. I hope that you are OK. The nice doctor vets will fix you and make you all better and once you're back on your paws again, we will definitely meet up and go for that run! You'll probably be able to out run me as you'll have brand new knees :o)
