T.C - RIP 12/04/2002 - 19/08/2007

Here is a poem my mum wanted to show you. she to lost a cat at only 6 years old. and thought she would never have a cat again. but here I am :)

Lend Me A Cat

I will lend a cat to you
for awhile, God said.
For you to love her while she lives,
and mourn her when she's dead.
Maybe for twelve or fourteen years,
or maybe two or three.
But will you, 'til I call her back,
take care of her for me?
She'll bring her charms to gladden you;
and should her stay be brief,
you'll always have her memories,
as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay,
since all from earth, return.
But there are lessons taught below,
I want this cat to learn.
I've looked the whole world over,
in search of teachers true.
And from the folk that crowd life's land,
I have chosen you.
Now will you give her all your love,
nor think the labor vain,
nor hate me when I come to take
my cat back again?
It was then that we said
'Dear Lord, thy will be done.'
For all the joys this cat will bring,
the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter her with tenderness,
we'll love her while we may.
And for the happiness we've known,
forever grateful stay.
But should you call her back,
much sooner than we'd planned,
we'll brave the bitter grief that comes,
and try to understand.
When our faithful bundle
departs this world of strife,
We'll have yet another cat,
and love her all her life.

So sorry to hear about T.C.
He looks gorgeous.
I'm sure you have many great memories to take comfort from.
I'm sure he had a wonderful life with you.

hi, i understand what your going through.my baby snowy died suddenly last year. he had a pulmonary embolism, it was very sudden and extremely distressing. i still miss him dearly and it affected my other cat missy greatly too. the main thing that was a comfort to me is that he is not suffering anymore. i'm sorry for your loss and think our pets will be great friends.

he was a very healthy cat we didnt even know it was going to happen

he just started to have a fit my mum took him to the vets and he died on the table when they were trying to save his life

Oh my god , i am so sorry! She wasnt that old, 5 years old?
Was it sudden , had she been sick ? Did she have a weak heart. My aunts cat suki daied after 18 years. They gve us so much joy , but it is so devastating when they gone. Very sorry Raina
