I´ve had a great Christmas - lots of pressies, lots of turkey, lots of visiting friends and family including my brother Harris who I hadn´t seen in ages. I´m pretty exhausted now after all the excitement of the festivities.

My Mum went to my friend Toby´s house for a mulled wine and mince pie party with his Mum and lots of other two legged uprights who have the pleasure of being owning by various four legged superior beings like myself, but none of us were allowed to go along for some reason. Toby is another Airedale and he is younger than me and I have taught him all I know. He is a good apprentice. At the party he waited until he´d lulled everyone in to a false sense of security then skillfully snuck one of the mince pies off the plate before anyone could stop him. People screamed but it was too late - he took off in to the other room to enjoy his well-gotten gains. Some time later he had another attempt but unfortunately this time his Mum and mine were waiting for him to make his move and although he got it in his mouth, between them they wrestled him to the ground and managed to wrench open his mouth and extract the Dune´s puff pasty mince pie before he had time to swollow it. Hmm, I´m drooling at the thought of it. After that his Mum put a muzzel on him, but although he couldn´t eat any of the mince pies, he had a damned good go at bashing them to pieces with it before they moved the plate out of his way! That´s my boy!

Lovely to see you the other weekend and mum says 'thank you' to your mum and Nigel for looking after me. She also says another big 'thank you' to Nigel for helping with the photos. I do, too, as I look much better now she knows what she's doing! Let's meet again soon and have another playday.

Hi Barney, My what a handsome chap you are. Sorry not to reply sooner but I have been busy in the garden with the bees. You know how it is!

I have had some new pics taken but can't seem to replace that horrid one of me in my profile page. I will keep trying.

I have a busy day ahead as my Uncle Brian and Auntie Gene are coming to visit so will catch up with you later.

Hey Barney,
thanks for the message. We love eating, it's our favourite pastime. There aren't many dandelions around at the moment so we send herself out to Tesco for fresh greens twice a week. She bought us corn on the cob yesterday too. Thinks she spoils us but that's just how it should be. Dont you agree?? Humans are there for US not the other way around..........!!
