Mum and dad told me today that we might be getting me a boyfriend! its so exciting, were going to visit this gorgeous brindle and white boxer to see if me and him get on and if we do and mum and dad like him too well be taking him home on monday! i really hope it all goes well as id love some company for when mum and dad are busy and cant play with me, ive seen a pic of him and hes really super handsome! keep ur paws crossed for me!

I have a great one already, and some fantastic greyhounds that i love to play with however mum and dad want a back up in case they cant look after me one time. Dad works shifts, 4 on 4 off so he needs someone to take me overnight or for the entire day. Im really good and well behaved as you know! and it wouldnt be often just when Jen couldnt take me! Oh also it would be great if you had a dog i could play with too!

PS I was in the park the other day and a big dog ran over to me and pushed me over i ran away from him because i was scared and then carried on walking with dad. then we saw him coming in the opposite direction and I went and hid from him in some long grass!

today i learnt how to go and fetch my lead, mum kept hiding it and then told me to go and get it and i learnt it almost straight away mum was very pleased with me she says im very clever! :D
I was really naughty today as well i stole a crispy out of dads hand he wasnt very happy with me and he shouted at me and made me sit in the naughty spot. but silly dad left the bag of crispys on the sofa and i tried to steal some more dads in a big mood with me now.
Mums also been teaching me to walk backwards i picked it up pretty quickly i like it when i make mum happy!
We went to woley woods the other day and i was playing with a lovely black lab he was a bit a naughty though so i chased him! Hope your all well speak soon

I was all excited today when mum came home from work as i thought she would of found some new friends but she said noone had emailed her :'( I dont know why noone wants to play with me am i too scary looking :'( because im not im a big softie! Maybe if i tell you everything ive been taught youll want to play because im quite clever and very obedient i can:
heel
sit
down
bed, i love my bed i get a whole sofa to myself
sit from a distance
shut the door
open the door, this one i taught myself!
roll over, i love getting my belly rubbed so i do this quite willingly
beg, i always do this when theres food around!
I always wait when mum puts my food down and only go to eat it when she says its ok
Over (when mum wants me to jump over something)
stop, if im being naughty and running somewhere my mum doesnt want me to go she shouts wait and i stop (usually!)

does that impress anyone enough to want to play with me?

Hi Holly!!
Sorry for the last post my paw slipped :-) Its nice to meet someone else who came from Birmingham Dogs home my 2 best friends came for there to :-) we're a good bunch! I wasn't quite sure what was happening when my mum came to pick me up, I had been in the dogs home so long and no one wanted me, I was very scared as my mum tried to get me to my new home but I did manage to find a lovely bit of sausage roll to eat!
I stayed scared for a long time, even the squeek of one of my now beloved toys sent me running for cover! I didnt know how to play or run so everything was so new for me! Though I must be the proof that you can teach an oldish dog new tricks!
I love my new home I'm sooo spoilt I have one home where I live with my mum and another home where we go and see my granny and grandad (though they dont like me calling them that)
I can't wait for christmas my advent calender is helping me count down the day but I really would rather just eat all the treats in one go :)

Woof Woof Holly,
Nice to hear from you, i asked mum bout walking and she said only i would be allowed to go, as Red doesnt really like dogs he doesnt know and the little uns are scaredy cats and would poo there pants..woof. Its lots of fun having lots of brothers & sisters, never a dull moment. And now mum just got us another little brother, he's called Yogi, that means another one to chase my tail, oh well.
