Not logged in Owner | My Interests Hi there, I'm Widget, a male, wheaten brindle Cairn terrier, born (02/05/06) and bred in Herefordshire and presently residing in Kent with Mike and Pam Woodhouse and their children Martha (7) and Johnny (5). I am currently being groomed for showing. Dad won Best of Breed at Crufts in 2005 and was Reserve Best of Breed in 2006; Mum was Best Junior Bitch in 2004, so I've a fair bit to live up too. But whatever happens, my family will always think the world of me and just want me to be happy, whatever I end up doing. Hmm....my interests....well, I'm nine months old, unneutered, it's Spring and the sap is rising in every sense, if you ladies catch my drift. But long walks, days out with the family, a decent squeaky ball and meeting new friends (especially if they happen to be young leggy females with child bearing hips) will usually put a smile on my face. I'm generally a happy-go-lucky sort of chap, great with young and old, human and non-human. I do, however, like to be first in on things and I insist on knowing what's going on and with whom at all times, which occasionally sees me being referred to as Captain Mainwaring - most unfair! Haven't heard much about you - what have you been up to, been anywhere exciting lately? Lu took me out last night for a lovely walk accross the fields, on the way I saw some Rats, Lu got a bit wobbly but she was alright really, lot of fuss over nothing if you ask me! If I had seen them a second earlier I would have caught them you know - honest, I was that close. Had a great time chasing my ball, I even beat a Springer Spaniel, he got a bit close so I cornered sharply and he lost out - Huh - I am sooooo quick you know. I'm a terrier too (but I like to think I've got a bit of Rottweiler in me) and I live in London with Terry and Anna. Here in the South West everything is pretty good, I have visited the South East - I went to Worthing last July with Lu to visit one of her old school pals. It wasn't a very happy time as I was recovering. I was chasing a squirrel early one morning and was hit by a car! I suffered a broken Pelvis. I didn't have to have surgery - it healed by itself but I had to be cage rested for a couple fo months which I hated. Anyway - all behind me know and I am back to normal. We terriers are made of some good stuff aren't we? I have a lovely life, I am loved to bits by Lu - but then I love her too. She is a good Mum, she looks after and cares for me very well, in fact I would say spoils me but I don't mind. We have a great time together, she takes me to the Quantock hills where I can run off my lead or to the beach where I chase my ball. She works by day so I go do stay with her Mum and Dad, I get spoilt there as well - especially by her Dad - he's great! He calls me his little mate!
