Nannina is a naughty puppy and has a continual problem of being a destructive chewer and disobedient even when she know´s she is doing wrong and has been told off.Despite trying out ways and techniques of dealing with her problem,in the end,I turned to Sue Czornenkyj,to help me out as after speaking with her about Nannina, she said that it was unsual and I had never had a problem like this before with any of my Rotties nor my other dogs......so why now ???.

She worked on a fresh fur sample and the result´s were simply astonishing.....firstly Nannina had an ´Endocrine´ (Hormonal) inbalance and her hormones were all over the place,so creating her to be up and down in her mood swings, etc.Secondly and this was the most surprising and saddening, she was found to be incredibly ´Depressed´ and this was the cause behind the destructiveness and disobedience. When she was being naughty..she was getting my attention and it was also her way of expressing her saddness, frustration and depressive state of being.
We wanted to know WHY she was depressed...this actually was very important to me because I wanted to make sure it was nothing that I was doing in her life.It turned out that she has been depressed since she was a young pup at her breeder´s home and that she came with it,unbeknown to us.....when she felt sad and low,she would chew and destroy anything that met with her teeth, bedding, toys, frames, doors, etc.
Her treatment is simple....1 Starflower Oil capsule daily to sort out her hormones and 3 drops of Gotu Kola tincture 2 x daily to ease the depression plus lot´s of extra TLC.She has been on this treatment for just on a week and the difference is amazing..NO CHEWING,NO DESTRUCTIVENESS and a MUCH HAPPIER dog in herself, generally.Thank goodness,I had this checked out and NO apart from her naughtiness, she always appeared an extremely happy dog on the outside and never gave me any inkling that she was so immensely miserable with her life, from within.

I am incredibly grateful for the knowledge & experties from Sue Czornenkyj and so is Nannina, who is coming on in leaps and bounds and becoming a very good dog.

I shall keep you updated on her progress and she´s due a check up around the middle of February,so it will be interesting to see,how both her hormones are and her mental well-being are doing !!.

I am a young Rottie and I just want to pass on a short message on behalf of all the other young Rotties.
Your Breeder should have already told you but just to reinforce the message,DO NOT over exercise us when we are puppies.Just allow us either a potter around the garden or a short walk on soft ground, but do not do no more than that until we reach 1 years of age and then you could do what you like with us,within a sensible reason.

The reason for the above,is that our bones and joints are slow to develop and if we put on too much muscle and tone, too soon, this could put an unnecessary strain on our joints and lead to problems such as Hip Dysplasia, early Arthritis, etc occuring in us later on in life which in turn could shorten our lifespan.
So please little exercise only, until we are 1 years old, many thank you´s.
Nannina.

I saved the day yesterday and redeemed myself with my mum (which is a rarity).

Mum had just mucked out all the hutches and Banjo the ferret and was busy poop-scooping our large back garden.Myth was knawing on a bone (as usual) and Vlad was inside,so I was left sitting on the patio, watching the world go by and mum doing her thing (not a very pleasant job but somebody has got to do it).
Suddenly I noticed that the bed box door on the female Ferrets, ferret cub had come open and there was ´Flowers´ looking out of her house, looking for a way of climbing out and down.´Precious´ the other ferret was thankfully in the day run downstairs or else she would have been out like a shot.
I started whining and squeaking and making a real noise which made my mum tell me to be quiet (as the norm) but I knew that I had to get her attention somehow before her ferrets got loose,so I made more of a noise and this time went up to the ferret cub and with my nose, kept ´Flowers´ in her bed box area....thinking please, please don´t bite me.

Mum finally looked up to see what all my fuss was about and then noticed the open door and ferret head. She dropped her bucket and scoop and rushed up to the ferret cub, praising me to heaven and firmly closed the door, double checking that both ferrets were safely inside.

All was well again and I was given much praise and lot´s of fuss,so there you go.....me naughty ´Nannina´..saved the day,"Hurragh".
