Jessica

I´ve had Jessica for 1 year now and she is still a little scardy cat. I think it must just be the way she is. I´ve put up a new little tent that she likes to play in and hide away. She seems happy enough and if that is hiding away all the time then so be it.

Jessica has been bathed for the first time (by me!). She got her nails done, shampoo and blow dry so very well pampered. She was better than I thought she´d react and actually seemed to be enjoying the blow dry. She is now all clean and smelling great!

Jessica has found that she can now get under the layers of fleece she has in her cage. She likes playing under there although sometimes gets trodden on by Marmite who doesn´t realise she is under there!

Jessica still remains shy although is getting better but very very slowly. It´s going to take a long time before I´ll gain her trust, we´ve had a nice cuddle tonight but she has been trying to bite me as I carry her from her c&c to the sofa. She hates being carried anywhere - I wonder if she has had a bad experience in the past, Marmite doesn´t have the same issues.
