Run off in the heatwave in 2006 and got myself lost. I went missing in N. Bretton, Peterborough, but could be miles away or local. Call Mum 07813 821007 if you find me. http://www.mymoggy.com/photos/c1201Sam/c1201Sam.htm My Blog 06 Sep 2008 21:52 I hope you will pass on http://foundandlostpets.blogspot.com to those you know have either lost of found an animal, anywhere, in any country. It´s a blog and I am adding it to free ads where possible. It is very new and defintely FREE. I can be contacted on primroses007@yahoo.co.uk. I ask that as much info is sent to me and photos, and the area of the found or lost animal. I have lost 2 cats and found 1. Joey (Grumpyarse) is home. Sam is still lost. And PJ we found. I just want to help anyone, any animals. I hate the thought of pets out their lost and owners worrying sick - I know what it´s like. One day I´d like to start a lost and found web but unsure where to start so it´s a blog for now ... : 0 ) 0 Comments 10 Aug 2008 07:41 I wrote a short story about Sam and it got shortlisted. Once I get settled with the house move and I have the study Ive always wanted, I can settle to write. I have a comical travel book which has been proof read, and am going to write more little Sammy stories. Wouldnt that be a lovely memory? Keeps him in my life... 0 Comments 10 Aug 2008 07:39 I did begin this as if it was Sam telling the story but I find it too upsetting. I am still searching by using a lady who does dowsing, She says he has a hospitality family in one particular area - I have dropped more leaflets. This lady and a pyschic I used both say I will find him but through others, it will be one day but not overnight. My gut says it will be someone taking him to the vet, he´ll get scanned and I will find him. I hope so!! 0 Comments My Message Wall 19 May 2008 18:28 So sorry to hear you are missing and you appear to be as handsome as me. I'm not the brightest cat in the world, but I know that your Mummy will be very sad not to have you with her as my Mummy was very sad when my sister Molly died. Hope you make it home soon! I never had the cats scanned as they weren"t microchipped back then. Can you not leave your new address with a neighbour and get them to look out for Sam. I am sure they would be glad to help. I so hope he turns up. I wish you lots of luck Lesley xxxxxxx 26 Mar 2008 11:18 Member Removed Hello lesley, Very sorry that Sam is missing. Take heart with the fact that cats can do this on a regular basis! I used to have two kittens called Bonnie and Clyde. They both went missing and they were so young and we had just moved house, too so I didn"t have much hope of seeing either of them again. Well, a couple of weeks later we heard a mewing at the back door and there was Bonnie. We had her for nearly nineteen years after that. Clyde did not show up, unfortunately but blow me, years later I saw a grown cat in the area which I would swear was him. Awww, really hope he shows up!! 01 Mar 2008 17:25 hi, fluffy went missing just over a month ago! how long was joey missing? i think fluffy has found a new home ;( 14 Feb 2008 13:18 hi sam, unfortunately fluffy (my cat) ran away but we are still looking for him! 10 Feb 2008 20:50 Hey bud good to no you like my site, yours is cool to! Meowzzzz Alfie xXx 04 Feb 2008 02:49 Unfortunately not, no, it's a bit of a funny situation. I was in a houseshare at the time, and my cousin moved into the spare room there. On her birthday, her aunty, who breeds Persians, gave her the kitten as a present, but he must've only been about 5 weeks old, way too young to be taken away from his mum. My cousin's boyfriend also lived in the house with us, and wouldn't let her have the cat in their room, so the first night she brought him home she asked if I'd look after him for the night, so obviously I said yes (who wouldn't ?!), and it carried on from there, she lost interest really quickly, novelty wore off, and he ended up staying in my room every night, but he'd stay downstairs through the day where his food, toys, litterbox etc. were. Then one day I came home and her bf had obviously been making things up, saying the cat had done a wee at the bottom of the stairs (I know he hadn't because he always, always used his tray, so either he was lying or they'd locked the cat out and he couldn't reach the tray), so she said she was getting rid of the cat. So to stop her doing anything, I decided I'd take the cat, and all his things, upto my room, and he'd live there where he was safe. I went to pick up his food bowl though, and I'd thought she'd been feeding him every day while he was downstairs, though obviously not because the bowl was full of maggots, it still had meat in it from the day she got him 2 weeks before, the poor little mew had been trying to eat round it. So I took all his stuff upstairs, got him a new food bowl, and kept him up there. Eventually after a few months I got a bit fed up with having his litter tray in my bedroom, so I thought by now she must've gotten over him apparently weeing in the hallway, so it should be safe to put his stuff downstairs again and let him play down there during the day. So I took it all back down again and for a couple of weeks it was fine, he'd be down there while I was working, and go to my room at night where he'd have his tea and sleep. By this time me and my cousin weren't really on speaking terms anyway, not because of the cat, because she was glad to be rid of him by then, but because of other things happening in the house, her stealing, her boyfriend breaking things, them smoking in the house, etc. I came home from work one day to find all the cat stuff gone - the litter tray and everything, every trace of him had been removed, she'd even gone and bought pet deodorising spray to get rid of every last bit, and the cat was nowhere to be seen. He was still only a baby then, and I haven't seen him since, and it was never mentioned. I moved out after that, and I've still no idea where the poor thing went, or what she did, but I wouldn't put anything past them two, so I'll be surprised if he's even alive any more.
