encephalalitozoon cuniculli is a parasite that us rabbits can get. it come´s out in our wee wee, and if we eat or lick or have any oral contact with the wee wee straight after we do it and it has the parasite in we will become very very ill.
i had this. i nearly didn´t survive. it can cause: falling over, head to the side always, infected kidneys,urinary problems,eye problems, weight loss, weakness, and even death.
if you see any of these signs get your rabbit to a vet immediatley.
there are antibiotics rabbits can take, but if your rabbit is ill past a certain point its likely they wont work. the only other option is (not all vets will do this) (it is quite expensive) the rabbit staying over the vets anything up to 1 to 4 weeks. i stayed in for 3. they put me on a drip gave me very strong medication. even if your rabbit recovers it is likely their head will always stay to the side, effecting their balance forever. some heads, like mine do go up.

hello, my name´s rella, as you know i´m a female netherland dwarf rabbit, grey and white fur, basically gorgeous. during the day if i´m out in my run, i love my long green tunnell. it can be twisted into a semi circle, or put out straight, its really fun.
i love to play in a cardboard box, with all tape, staples and else-what removed. (mummy says its best to put a hole in it for me to jump through and turn it upside down so its like a little room)
one thing i would recommend most though is a box ( not cardboard ) about half full of straw for me to sit in. i fall asleep in it. its best to put it in a sunny part of the run.
those are my favourite toys.
