Monty

I am such a happy cat now. I don't really remember much now about all the time I spent at the vet, at the shelter and in my unhappy first home. I think I was an unhappy cat before because I didn't have other cats to live with. Now I am never on my own. Usually Scarlett, Leo and I sleep in a furry heap on the sofa and both cats groom me from head to toe every day. When I go outside, Leo usually comes with me, and he is also brilliant at starting chasing games for us to play. Even Scarlett has started to play with me - for an elderly cat, she is pretty light on her feet!

I have now been in my new home for just over five months.  I'm having a really good time.  I love going out in the garden, and have even got used to all this rain.  I sleep on the sofa during the day and the bed at night, curled up with one or both of my cat companions.  When Cassie is at her computer, I sit on her lap or on the desk and try to bat anything on the screen that moves. The vet has just reduced my steroid dose again and so far my health is still fine.  I finally feel like I really live here.

It will be a month on Friday since I arrived here.  Cassie spoke to Cats Protection this morning and they are all amazed at how well I'm doing.  We will see the vet in about two and a half weeks, and then hopefully I will be formally adopted!

I'm currently a foster cat in my new home with Cassie, Leo and Scarlett. I''ve been here a week and it's been pretty good so far, especially getting a warm welcome from Leo. I'm fairly sure I want to stay, but only Cats Protection can make that decision.

Sorry to hear you"ve been missing Scarlett, it"s sad losing a mate, hope youre getting lots of cuddle and treats.

Hi Monty, I came from a sanctuary as you know and they said me and my sister Cleo are half ragdoll, half moggy! My mum was a ragdoll that was used for breeding and she got out and got pregnant, thats how we ended up in the cat sanctuary.We thought you could be our distant relative so wanted to be friends!

Hi Monty, thank you for your message. Glad to hear you have been rescued into a loving home like me. My human mum and dad love me very much just as I do them, and I wouldn't change them for the world. They are the best thing that has ever happened to me. It's lovely when things have a happy ending xx

aww im sooooooooooo happy you are home and are well of course your new family hadnt forgotton you they were worried for you and at least chris looked after you me and my mum are so happy to hear all is well now you be careful no more being a curious monty as the big world out there aint so friendly and if you have no road sense like me then its dangerous so dont go giving us any more frights but big kisses to you love sykes xxx
