Well you guys, as you know I have always suffered with a bad front passenger side paw, which basically the vet has said is casued by grinding bones! Every so often it flairs up, and is absolute agony for me. This time however, I have a bad front drivers side paw! How unlucky can one little fat cocker be?

This time it was not grinding bones, but apparently something had gone up inside my paw and caused it to flair up. My dad said that I am going to have to retire from working, which Im not very happy about. I know that I am generally quite a lazy dog, who will spend all day on the sofa if aloud to, but I love to go out chasing rabbits also! The last few times my dad has been out, I have had to go and stay up with my nan and granddad for the day, but I quite like doing that, as my grumpy-grampy always takes me for a stroll in the woods.

I just wish my feet would get better...

On a more positive note, my mum has been giving me regular hair cuts through the summer becasue my coat is so thick, and unlike last year where I was left with bald patches all over the place, (how embarressing!?) she seems to have got the hang of it. She insists on leaving my frilly bits on however, as she says I look like I´ve got my Dolly Parton outfit on. I must say I do look rather pretty!!

Hi kel, Its nice to see another working cocker on here like me!! There are not many of us around. My mummy says I like an Orangutan because since I was spayed my hair has gone all fluffy!! xx
