I´m hyper! Can walk for hours, love running and chasing Squirrels. I am very intelligent and could latch onto agility training very quickly if only i could sort out my problem with other dogs and certain people! Looking forward to lots of travel and camping. Just rehomed from the Dogs Trust for the 2nd time.

Message Well what is going on! It has actually been warm for some of the weekend and not unbearable for the rest! So Saturday my Mam takes me to a new place for me but apparently one of her fave destinations, Robin Hoods Bay. If I´m good in the long run we will camp here! It is so beautiful here and my favourite thing is chasing seaguls and not realising that I have ended up in the sea with a wave crashing over me! We went to this pub called the Dolphin which is the Mams fave and sat out with a scoundrel called Bert, he´s a terrier cross but quite tall like me. Then we went to Whitby, walked loads of steps to the abbey, got told off for being on a beach I wasn´t allowed on and had fish and chips at the Magpie Cafe, my Mam couldn´t eat all of hers so I got plenty, yum!

Today been to Lindley, Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs, boiling hot so glad of a swim. See my uploaded photos and vids to see how much fun I´ve been having of late!! Would recommend Swinsty to all of you for a good days walk, swim and picnic!

What a trauma! So this weekend the human bundles me in my least fave place (the car!!) and then it all gets much worse, I am thinking she has returned me to the rescue centre like the last person. When they shut the kennel gate I try desperately to get to my Mam but she has walked away! Didn't sleep a wink as I missed my home! Next day the humans that run the joint came for me, don't get me wrong, I like them but I like my Mam and bed better! Imagine my surprise when I got into this office bit with a counter and guess who is the other side of the counter? There was a cat on there but I really didn't care about that! Saw my Mum had come back for me and couldn't contain myself. I think I love my home now. Decided to behave and listen to her from now on as I am so much happier and she didn't abandon me like the others, it's time for me to behav somewhat I think!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well it's been ages again. Things have been as up and down as a terrier at a child gate! Had my problems, bit the human and some of her friends! She's been teaching me to ignore people and dogs by the means of my old weakness garlic sausage! I'll let the human tell you the ups and downs of all that though. I am here to tell you about what a brilliant day I have had today. I have a best friend called Hopey (quite a poigniant name as it happens for me!), he's a Manchester Terrier cross with all his bits intact but I like him a lot. So the humans drove us to Eccup reservoir and we all had a good old walk through the farmers fields and around the reservoir. Some times I was off the lead and me an Hopey just ran and sniffed pooh and stuff! Then we got to this bit where we could get into the water. At first Hopey's human threw in a big stick and he swam to it but I stopped before it got too deep, but when he got out I challenged him to the stick and won. Took it to my human who threw it back, I was deterermined this time but as it happens Hopey didn't fancy the cold of the water again so I swam out and got it. He tried to nick it off be but after a growl and a tug o war I won again and took it back to my human, who, by the way threw it straight back in the water! Tuh! So we ran on through the fields, at one point Hopey rolled in the muck track and became a rather nice stinky muck colour, I was a bit jealous! I think we are going rough camping on a beach soon so I'll let you know about our adventures, me and Hopey are going to be having lots of adventures I am sure. Watch this space for the camping journals! I'm tired out, I will get a photo of me and Hopey for my next blog. Happy and tired. Fred x

Hello Chums, feels like ages since I was on the computer (its not natural for dogs!). Done that many walks that I can't remember where I've been! A good few at the local park (Meanwood) great walk with water, woods, flowers and a pub at the end! So today I was bundled into the car (against my will) but thankfully the journey was about 10 minutes, got out into the countryside, can smell the sheep and their produce! So we walked around Eccup Reserviour, on the outskirts of Leeds but totallly in the countryside, not far from the Emmerdale set. Dead sunny to start with and I got to sniff a few dogs on the way and didn't get one bit aggressive, it was too nice to spoil it. Got around the resevoir and suddenly the heavens opened, total hail stone right in our faces! I managed to negotiate a few stiles (have had varying success with these obstacles!). Had a great day overall and no reason to fight anyone, was really happy  the human put the heating on when we got back, had a real good dreamy sleep then decided to have a good old rag on my favourite toy, I love to eat my chewys upside down! .Blogging off....Fred xxxx

I've asked my Mum about meeting up and she's up for it but said it will have to be in a few weeks because we are very busy the next few weeks. It's bank holiday this weekend and Mum said we are going seeing Jess at the caravan and she may have to go to Cornwall for something to do with work, the next two weekend. She isn't very happy about that either!!

Mums also talking about getting a tent so we can go away at weekends so if your out camping with your Mum maybe we can all camp together.

Mum just has to find a tent big enough coz she says she isn't squashing into a little thing and it has to be on a camp site so she can plug in the telly and her hair dryer. (not sure she's cut out for this camping lark). I have to start being a bit nicer to other dogs though if we go on a camp site as she tells me lots of people camp with their dogs.

In 4 weeks I go on my hols to the cottage Mum has rented in Wales!!

I can't wait as now I have mastered recall Mum said I can run on the beach off my lead.

Hope to meet you dog to dog soon, all my woofs and licks Clioxx

Hi Fred, thanks for being my friend here on P.S. We all have great fun, and the humans do too! Ha Ha! It's a good job Mum taught me how to type! You have found a great home now, do you like dancing? When Mum plays Pink Floyd, "Crazy Diamond" sets me off dancing, so this is my nickname! Love Billy (Crazy Diamond) xx

We have had some success today.

1) I wasn't sick in the car
2) I didn't try to rip the heads off other dogs,

One was off a lead and wouldn't stop sniffing my bum but instead of growling, snarling and foaming at the mouth I gave one small growl and walked off. There were others I completely ignored.

Mum put me on something called a harness today and that worked when I tried to pull towards other dogs as I couldn't bloody pull as hard without my front legs lifting off the floor. My eyes weren't as blood shot either after the butt sniffing dog had been dragged off me by his owner!!!!

I have always been Ok with my Mum and have never been afraid of her but I still bark at my grandad when he comes to visit. I'm fine with all other humans who I meet on the street as long as they don't make sudden movements. I cower behind Mum as I think they are going to hit me.

I know Mum gets upset when other peope think I am viscious when they see me bark at others dogs. If they saw me in the house lay on Mum like a baby while she tickles my belly they would change their mind.

Keep up the good work with your Mum. I'm sure she loves you a lot.

Hiya Fred,

I know what you mean about other dogs. Im OK with people but other dogs just scare me to death. I react by pulling towards them and growling at them. I let some get close to me and sniff me for a few seconds but if they hang about too long I will bark at them.

Luckily my owner has me on a lead and can pull me away. She thinks I may bite but I am just showing them who is boss.

My owner has noticed that I can ignore other dogs if I am in a starnge place with more exciting things to look and sniff at and she is trying to help me overcome my fear of dogs.

Read my blog on my page for more about me but I would like to be your friend and our owners may be able to swap tips on how to help us be more brave.
