I had those horrible stitch things removed today and boy am i pleased. The vet person told Mummy & Ronald that i had been very good and i have healed well. The vet lady also said i would be a better behaved dog now too but i was wondering how can i improve i'm already an angel!!!
The vet lady gave me lots of cuddles and love so i have forgave her for the operation and mummy said i won't get tummy ache anymore when i come into season (whatever that means).
Anyway i'm one very happy dog today. 0 Comments 30 Mar 2008 17:17 30 Mar 2008 17:17 Hey all i had a really weird day yesterday this is how it went.
9am Ronald takes me out for a long walk which is unusual because i normal go for my long walk in the evening and a short walk in the morning.
10.30am We get home from the walk and i want my breakfast but ronald won't give it to me nor will anyone else. What have i done wrong i can't even find my water bowl oh help this is strange.
1pm Mum puts my lead on and then her and ronald take me out to the car. I love going out in the car because it normally means i'm going to the park. Today i'm not as happy as i've still not been fed!!!
2pm The car stops at a place i've been once before but its not the park. I go inside this building where i meet a lady i've mean't once before and mum told me she's a vet called Ann. Last time i came to the vets their was lots of other animals waiting in the waiting room to see Ann but today i'm the only one there this is strange. The lady called Ann comes over and talks to me, mum & ronald but suddenly i start to feel very tired and all i want to do is lay down and go to sleep.
3.30pm I start to wake up but i still feel very strange and what's worse mum and ronald have gone and i've got a sore belly.
What's Happened
Ann talks to me and she is nice but i kind off think she has something to do with the fact i feel awful, but i still feel too tired to do anything about it and she keeps telling me i'm a good girl and i should just sleep now so that's what i do.
4pm I wake up a little bit because i hear mum and ronald's voice and hopefully that means i can go home now.
I sort off hear mum and ann talking and ann is telling mum the operation went fine and i will need somethink called a painkiller later today.
Hey i hear the word food mentioned but for some reason i'm not really that hungry now i just want to sleep. I also notice i have this big thing called a bandage round my belly i wonder why this is?
4.30pm We all leave the place called the vets but i don't feel like walking so ronald carries me and puts me back into mum's car i hope we are going home now.
5.30pm Yes we are home and i quickly want to go to my bed and sleep.
7.30pm I wake up and boy i need a drink but i'm still not very hungry even through ronald tries to get me to.
My belly still hurts and i try to tell ronald this but he seems to know because he gives me something which makes me feel better.
10pm Ronald takes me to his bedroom i have never been in this room before but ronald says i can sleep here tonight so i settle down in my bed and go to sleep again.
SUNDAY
I wake up feeling much better and boy am i hungry and today i do get my breakfast YES. Ronald takes me out for a little walk as i don't feel like a long walk. I still have this strange bandage thing on my belly and it still hurts a little bit but ronald and mum give me things to stop it hurting.

07 Apr 2008 20:36 Hi Sky, Hope are feeling better. I know that you are going through. I went through the same in January. I was groggy for the day. After that I felt ok. I was only 6 months old when I got it done, Maybe that is why I was not in much pain, I only had 2 small stitches. You will feel much better when the stitches were out as they get very itchy & annoying. Your mummy would know that you did not mean to be angry with her as your stiches were annoying you. My big brother went in the same day for the boy operation he was really sore he had 2 big long lines of stitches as they had to open up his stomach. He was up all night trying to pull off his stiches as they were annoying him. My mum had to follow him everywhere and sleep with him to stop him getting at his stitches. It was a long 10 days for her as his stitches also infected and he got taken back to the vet. When get got his stitches out he was so happy & so was I. Mummys are looking after us and promised us that we won`t ever go it ever again as it is for our own good. So don`t worry. My Papa walks me up in the mountains most days. Yesterday we followed the track of the snow plough and I got to run in the snow on my favourite walk. I came home to have my supper then I crashed in front of the fire for a while.
Maman and Papa got settled on the sofa to what CSI. They gave me a chewie, which lasted five minutes! I then had a cuddle on Papa's lap and watched TV, I love watching TV. 22 Mar 2008 10:44 Member Removed Hey gorgeous,
