My Interests
Zoe the African Pygmy Hedgehog
RIP my angel 02.10.2003 - 19.11.2008

My name was Zoe. I was born at the beginning of October 2003 (which makes me a Libra) and I passed away at the age of 5 years old and 47 days (which is a great age for APH).

I lived in luxury in a terrarium. Inside the terrarium was my palace, a shoe box, with a Givenchy handkerchief and a towel. I had a sand tray and I loved to have sandbaths:-)

Every now and then, I had a normal bath with water....which I hated with a passion.

I liked to run the London marathon in my wheel, explored the flat I lived in and above all, I liked to beg for food:-)

To get food when I wanted, I used 2 cunning ways: one, I was putting on my cutest face and this was a real winner, second when I was running on the floor, I just pushed with my little wet nose my mum or dad´s feet.....it did the trick too:-)

I was a bit lazy (well according to mum) but I would say that it was nonsense, I was just resting my eyes most of the time:-)

My mum is an animal communicator and healer and I am on her websiste too. Visit<a href="<a href=" http://www.animalscantalk2me.com">">

My name is Oephebia and I was born many moons ago in Paris (France). Since early childhood, I always have been an animal lover.
When I was a teenager, Pinky the Schnauzer came to live with us (my family), . He was such a character and I always communicated with him (although I did not know at the time I was communicating, it just occurred naturally).
When he was put to sleep (old age), he came to say goodbye in my head, at the exact time of this departure, despite me being in England and him in France!
As the years passed by, I had a few animals like a cute little mouse, a dwarf rabbit, a cat, a pair of lovebirds, a pair of parakeets and the love of my life; a Blue Fronted Amazonian parrot named Coco which now lives happily in a parrot sanctuary based in Lincolnshire with a colony of Amazons like him. He even has a girlfriend!
Since 2003, I have been living with an African Pygmy Hedgehog called Zoë. (Communication with her is kept to a minimum: food, comfort and no baths please!).
After Coco went to the sanctuary, I decided to train as an animal communicator. During my training I realised that during all these years I just communicated naturally with my animals, the only thing is I did not know that this wonderful way of being with animals was called animal communication. Everything fell into place during the training.
I am a fully qualified professional Animal communicator. I qualified with an average of 97% accuracy on the cases I worked on for the examinations. The panel for the four exams is a mix of people involved in animal welfare such as a vet, an animal behaviourist, an animal trainer and a representative from an animal welfare organisation.
In order to help further animals, I also am currently studying in depth, the Bach Flowers Remedies and their relationship with the chakras system. I do believe that veterinary care combined with natural remedies can work wonders on animals (as I have seen so many times).
My aim is to help animals (pets and wild) and their people to understand each other better, to respect each other and above all to give all creatures the love and understanding they deserve.
As I have a particular interest in parrots, I intend to refine my skills in parrot communication in the near future.

Hey Zoe. =]

I have to admit I love getting into mischief and being the centre of attention.

What do you like to do? Hope you and your mum had a great weekend.

Hugs + licks,

Hi Zo, I got your message - thank you very much, I have been enjoying the nice sunshine for the past couple of days, just lounging around outdoors, doing a spot of sniffing and a bit of digging when mums not looking, if she catches me then I'm in big trouble.
Do you get outside much?
luv

Hello Zoe,
Thankyou for the friend request. Your such a cutie, and i bet you don`t bite your mum like i bite mine! I sooo wish my mum could understand me. At the moment i have lots of attention and am spoilt rotten wiv treats and other humans and animals 4 company, but have 2 stay mostly shut up in my cage as i`m so agressive. I do have my moments where i can be all cute and baby like, but noone trusts me like they used 2 knowing dat i can turn on them in a flash!
Mum really enjoyed reading all about you, and thinks your pics are just so cute.
