We´ve had her 18 months now and although she has improved, she still kicks-off big style at other dogs - every time if they are on lead, and sometimes when they are not. We do not let her have off-lead time unless we are in an enclosed area (tennis court). We took her to training at the beginning, but she couldn´t cope with the other dogs (stayed for the 7 week course - but it was a battle to control her each time). It is the only blip on an otherwise wonderful, dedicated friend - I just wish I knew how to help her and not make matters worse. I get very nervous when other dogs are around - my son is much better at socialising her than I am. However, after 18 months, this is a hurdle that we cannot seem to help her overcome. Would appreciate any advise/pointing in an experienced training club´s direction.
