hi and thanks for getting back to me so fast, i have had him on carprufen or something?? and my last old boy had to sadly be put to sleep as he was diagnosed with a bone tumor at the age of ten am hoping this isnt the same i will be deeply upset if it is considering i have just spent the last of my money on getting his front tendons sown back together after some complete irrisponsible fool smashed glass where everyone walks the dogs and mine was the one who had his tendons sliced. am hoping it isnt and i can only thin kthat the vet would again bandage it up with cotton wool and a support wrap over the top so i have carefully done that, he is completly normal in himself appetite is fine so ????? i have pictures if it could help you in making a decision as id like to be prepared for the worst but dont want to spend loads that i havent got taking him to the vets only to find im going to have to put him to sleep anyway thanks again your help is greatly appreciated..gary :)

Hi Gary,
You need to take your dog to your vet as soon as possible. Lumps which appear quickly should always be taken seriously . This one is of particular concern as it has made your dog completely non-weight bearing, which means his leg must be very painful or extremely restricted in its movement.
