thats fantastic, you should show him stum bumf on how rabbits are social animals, the rabbit welfare society and rabbit rehome have lots of good published infomation.

i have nothing but funny moods from sophie so im on quite tender hooks there. lucy had 3 adorable rex x lion head babies, one siver fox, one black otter and one agouti.

Hi Vicky
just read your blog
How"s Patch,
Has that tabby been back to see him. When he thumps his back legs he is warning the cat off. Flossie used to do that with my neighbour"s cat but they are friends now. She is boss with all the cats and runs up to them and chases them. I would never leave her on her own with a strange cat, though even though she knows no fear. She likes to sit next to Woody and sometimes he pats her on the nose, but they are the best of friends.

VHD isn't present throughout the country the way myxi is - your vet would know whether there are local cases from liaising with other vets, and wouldn't recommend giving the VHD vaccine if the risk of disease is very low.

Hi Vicky,
Rabbits should normally be vaccinated against Myxomatosis every 6 months and against VHD every year. In areas which are low risk for VHD your vet may advise that only Myxomatosis is necessary.

The Myxomatosis jab usually costs between £10 and £20.
