I see you like spacey background wallpaper ,so do I. lol 01 Apr 2008 20:31 Evening Dionne, I've just read your message and can only say that firstly, like you I do not drive,so yeah.....I can appreciate how you feel and how restricting it is (LOL). Try the PDSA tomorrow then about the pet limit...I don't think there is one but it's best to make sure and you will need proof of any benefits such as DSS AND Housing Benefit,to qualify for registration. In becoming a Veterinary nurse...you must first find employment for not less than 35 hours per week in a veterinary practice or other veterinary centra approved by the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons). The greater part of the training is given 'on the job' and the pratical training is supplemented by formal tuition to provide the necessary background knowledge. There are residential courses available and all pre-enrolment enquiries about training should be made too the: 'British Veterinary Nursing Association',Level 15,Terminus House,Terminus Street,Harlow,Essex,CM20 1XA. There are over 80 training centres approved by the RCVS,where student nurses can study for the two qualifying examinations and a Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing can also be obtained. I hope the above helps.......good luck in finding a local clinic.....maybe it would be worth your while, ringing and making an appointment to speak with the leading vet and owner of your nearest practice..to ask them if they have any vacancies or up and coming positions that you maybe suited for.....it's worth a go anyway. We are all keeping well thank's......I hope you and your lot are OK too!. Tke care and bye for now. Mary 31 Mar 2008 12:14 Hello Dionne, Lovely hearing from you again and I hope that your family are well. In regards to the pet limit with the PDSA.......I think that so long as you qualify for PDSA registration as a client...there should be no limit, but just to be on the safe side...why don't you give them a ring and ask as a matter of interest..you don't have to give your name or anything. Hope that help's......take care now, Mary x 22 Mar 2008 19:01 your bearded dragon is lovely dont they make good pets. i had two. my son took them in to show and tell and in a fue short weeks i was invited to bring them in to other schools. fred loved it, head in the air the more people the better. sadly i was in a car crash and wilma died fred went down hill i tryed getting him a new female but the only one i could get was very very old and she died he didnt last long after that. pity. iv had a rescue iguna basilisk and water dragons but they were nothing like my fred 11 Mar 2008 23:54 Hey Im alex just wanted to know if you want to chat and also if you get a minute you can really help me by doing this 5min survay.
