hiya,fab 2 hear from u again....Riding has been Banned 1st i had Sinus Opp in July,no riding till Sept...then work went on Strike in Sept..{wen i went back 2 work}nd couldnt afford 2 ride...
then on 7th jan had a accident in work {lifted 2 sacks,which shd have ben 11kilos max,}had 2 sacks at 26.2kilos each,,, so that put me out,as all ican take is paracetamol {coz of bad Asthma and Allergies}...Then 2 top it off..on monday 7th April...a kid fucking around in work rammed a York into my back..was in agony yesterday,was advised 2 go 2 A&E,which i did this morning at 6.30am....Now on sick for week or 2....banned from the gym,riding {for definate},alcohol and driving.....and these painkillers have knckered me up....
just waiting for Solicitor {as logged for Compo} from work.just 2 inform her of latest accident....
Im a bloody wreck now..haha....
Going 2 go 2 bed as soon as Solicitor has phoned....as feel urgh...spk soon ok Cass.xxx

Hiya i know i have been crap latley well since Jan..{Tut Tut} i go onto myspace and get addicted and 4get all about this web page...

NZ was amazing such a fab place {totally reccomended place 2 visit}we stayed up North Island, in the areas of Auckland and Tauranga.{Bay of Plenty}.went Western Horse Riding...You will laugh at this muggins here leaned 4ward 2 get off on the Beach...and got caught hanging by my Bra,and vest top by The Pommell....Yes well....
everyone tht it very amusing....Dont think me and Western Saddles mix that well...rode a beautiful grey Horse a NZ Breed...
Also went jet-Boating soooo much fun....

God knows wen ill be able 2 go Riding now...following Back injury in jan and then again last Night...a Kid rammed a York into my back in accident....but has made my already bad back 4 X worse..

So a trip 2 A&E is in Order 2morrow...2 put my mind at ease....

Hope u still want 2 be friends wot be sooo long in replying next time...

What a terrible thing to happen to your mum. I hope she has improved now and feeling better. You must have been so worried.
Brooke has been on the wynergy for a few weeks now and seems to be doing well on it. She has been getting top spec calmer for a while now. What ones did you use in the past?
The flair thing is great, it feels very comfortable and i think she is finding it better too. Her shoulder movement feels much more free. She has been going really well. Well she was until i took her for a hack last week and she went lame about 2 miles from home. Jumped off and she limped back. There was a bit of swelling around her knee so I cold hosed, gave bute, arnica and blasted her with reiki for a couple of days. She seems fine now but i will rest her for a few more days to be safe.
Have you managed to get a bit more riding in again?
What about Lindsay, how is she doing?

hiya only me,back from new zealand what a fabbo place so laid back with everything 1st week stayed with my Sister Claire in a place called Poekocoe.About 40mins from Auckland Airport....
claire lives on a Farm with about 17acres....
Visited some fab places like the 2 Swing bridges,over an amazing river views truely amazing..went 2 a lighthouse...a fab beach with black sand.Western Horse Riding on the beach rode a georg grey Horse...with a weird name...
then we headed up 2 My Birth Mums House in Tauranga {Bay of Islands} very preety area very similar 2 The Brecon Beacons...with a drout.
weather very Hot thank god...even have a tan
visited Glowworm Caves,Rotura,lake taupo,Mount Maganui,Hot Thermal salt water Pools {soooo lush}
Singapore was way 2 Humid for me but a lovely place....was a typicl Tourist,on open top busses....fnd a cool Irish Pub called Dirty nellys...had a Singapore Sling in the Long bar at Raffles Hotel Yummy went on a Bum Boat,and did Night Time Safari at Singapore Zoo...
Now home and back 2 normal barr humbug...

I am not sure what is all involved in this extravaganza thing, lots of diplays, dressage, jumping etc i think. I am really nervous about it. I will have a bit of a script so will just have to improvise a bit. arrggghh.
Bowen guy was up on friday. Brooke was quite funny with him at first. we both went into her stable and she just came right to me and glared at him lol. Eventually she went over and made friends a bit. He reckoned her back was a bit sore and that my saddle was sitting a bit low at the back. He advised that I get it re-flocked and get a rear riser. I took it to local saddlery and got the re-flocking done. She came up on wednesday and said that it didn't need the riser as it would tilt it forward onto her shoulders. She now has it again to put the flair system in it. She reckons the saddle was fine, but the flair thing will make it even more comfortable for her. It will cost me £300 to get it done. I should have it back on monday. She gave me a loan of a saddle til i get mine back.
I am glad you and Sam are getting back into the swing of things. you will both be back to normal in no time i am sure.
I know what you are saying about the hacking thing, it is nice to just be able to relax and not have to think about outlines and stuff. We do school a bit out on our hacks, leg yields and stuff.
I have changed her food as i felt she was getting toom uch starch and thought that is perhaps what was making her fizzy and a bit spooky. She went on to Wynergy equilibrium about week ago and i do think it is making a difference. She feels much more relaxed. Perhaps it is my imagination, i eased her onto it gradually so it has only been a few days that she has been on the full ration of it. I don't know if that is enough time to make a difference really. What do you feed?
That is brilliant about Lindsay going to the regionals, she is very dedicated. When is it, let me know how she gets on. That will be lovely the two of you getting away on your own to it. What music has she chosen for the freestyle? i love watching that. Have you watched any of the stuff on the horse and country channel?
Cara is doing well, she is getting a bit of time off the lead but i must admit to being very nervous that something happens. I think it will take a bit of time to relax. I have to build it up gradually.Best go now and pick Kyle up from school.

Damn Hamster Gingr broke her last cage by Biting all the plastic shelves and clips,put her in this temp cage till new all metal one comes from Emerson on-line pet catalogue.and just noticed she has bitten threw ladder holders....so wen they break she loses the ladder...Never had such a naughty hamster has her b4....

Hope Simons Bro and his Wife are ok with her as she is NOT A NICE LITTLE GIRL at alll dont know why coz she has been loved for past 9mths of me owning her!!!!!

Have you been anble to ride yet? The weather here has been just awful, it is torrential today again. It is such a pian. How did your lunge lesson go?
Hope your lil girl is coping with her season. Cara was 2 in October, so a little bit older. She has weird seasons, she bleeds for a day then nothing. She is still swollen and has the smell but that is it. It is called a silent season. I didn't really want to have her spayed but was considering it, however, she has been thro' enough with her ops on her legs lately so I am not going to put her thro' any more.
We have an equine extravaganza (so they are calling it) and i have been asked to commentate on the section for the ex racers. I am wishing I hadn't said yes now, it isn't til mid march but i am getting really nervous about it. I had to do plenty presentations at work so i should be ok and i will have a script as a guide. I will need a bucketful of rescue remedy to get me thro' it lol.
I am having somebody out to some Bowen Therapy on Brooke and check her saddle. Have you ever had that done. I am looking forwatd to it, i hope she enjoys it.
I have quite a lot of rugs and stuff for the amersham horses collected. I will take them to the collection point later in the week. They have got round to picking up from scotland yet. It is just awful. I keep thinking, that at one time all these horses were someones pride and joy. They reckon that some of them have been stolen. It is just heartbreaking. Lets see how the Animal Health and Welfare act comes into play when it comes to sentencing. I hope he gets proper punishment and not the usual slap on the wrist.
Well, I am off for a shower now as i need to warm up.

Hiya Jenny,gr8 2 hear from you...I have beenRiding since i was 17 {a latestarter}as Mum and Dad didnt think i was serious enough!!!!...Enen tho i often went on Riding Holidays on my own 5yrs to Home Park Riding School in Cynghordy Nr Llandovery-Mid Wales {now closed down i think}
and then went 2 Cae Iago Mid Wales {Brilliant place}but expensive now.

I normally Ride X2 a week at my local Stables Cardiff Riding School Stopped in July 07 {as i went into Hospital 2 have Sinus Surgery-unable 2 ride till Sept...Then we went on Strike in work over Pay issues {ROYAL MAIL]...no pay meant no lessons.....then we got Married,and now going on our Honeymoon 3rd Feb for a month in New Zealand/Singapore...

So Riding will start again wen i come back...

Gotta look at new Hamster Cages coz i noticed bits of Plastic all over Gingers Home couldnt work out where from till last night--she has bitten the plastic all over her cage,and the grips that hold plastic levels up....
so need 2 buy a more sturdy Hamster Home one that willlast for a long time....Have seen a jolly multi-Level hmster cage with Internal Tubes,Metal levels only....costs £64.95....Think i need it B4 we go away...
damn Hamster..She wont be handled either...all female Hamsters have been the same....WOMEN!!!!!Haha
