Password (for your eyes only) | My Interests Hi all, I have 8 cats and they are all my furry children...i am told the correct term is ´furkids´ lol I will get pics of them all on site very soon. The ages range from my 13 yr old siamese down to my two 6 month old kittens :o) **update** pics are up now...aint my brood just gorgeous! Oh and i´ve added Prissy the fish! 5 of my babies have come to me because no one else wanted them :o( Felix was about to be killed by being thrown in the canal in a carrier bag and if my neighbour hadn´t turned up when he did my little baby wouldn´t be with me today. He is such a character and i am so glad he became part of our lives! Fagan was a rescue cat we saw at the RSPCA. we went to re home a kitten but Fagie was so loud you couldn´t help but notice him. As an older cat he may never have been re homed but we just fell in love with him and he is fabulous....i have never had a siamese before and they are definately a loving loyal breed...he is adorable! He has been with us just over 2 yrs now Maggie and her babies are a very sad story. I went to see another kitten at a foster carers home for the cats protection and she mentioned she had a mummy and 2 kittens in her pen...i just had to have a look! Well that was it.....Maggie was the image of a cat I lost in January aged 14, Molly and i just burst into tears when i saw her. She had a pure tabby baby and a pure black baby...i fell in love straight away and agreed to take all 3! Maggie actually gave birth to 5 kittens in a lady´s garden but instead of moving them to shelter she simply put a garden chair over where they were but this wasn´t enough cover from those awful storms we had and 3 of Maggies kittens died :o( Polly and Billy the 2 surviving kittens are a complete joy i have to say...so loving and so full of fun and they have fitted in so well to our multi cat household! I mentioned Molly whom I lost aged 14 in Jan 2007 and I also lost my baby Dusty in Dec 2006 he was 12 yrs old. Dusty came to me at 6 weeks old from a friend who´s cat had kittens and Molly was another rescue kitten i took on aged 10 weeks who like felix nearly ended up in the canal :o( How can people be so cruel!!?? I miss them both so much :o( My Blog 13 Aug 2008 14:40 Hi there, Hope everyone is well and all thier furbabies and other p... 2 Comments 18 Apr 2008 11:32 1 Comments 23 Mar 2008 19:24 0 Comments 18 Jan 2008 07:06 0 Comments 17 Jan 2008 09:16 0 Comments My Message Wall 17 Jun 2008 16:39 Hows all your lot? I bet he is doing his best to look good on all the photos. Live life to the full and have fun together xxx 24 Apr 2008 00:50 Hi Hayley, I've had Persians for the last 12 years, One of which passed away suddenly with chronic kidney failure, but the one I have now has this for the past 2 years, I am just careful what I feed her, give her plenty attention and have her litter to change every other day (she pees loads), she still seems happy enough and she has never been a very active cat, so we try to tice her into playing a little. With the right diet and great care from you your Thomas could be with you for some time yet. Dont worry. Debbie 22 Apr 2008 21:03 Awwwww, poor thomas. Hes a poorly boy at the mo then? 1 of my rats died last night, snowy. It was really sudden, she was fine the day before, eatin and runnin around like summat possesed. I found her at the bottom of her cage this morning. :o( Give tommy a kiss and a cuddle from me and tell him i sed get well soon. xx 22 Apr 2008 13:51 Hi Hayley, I am so glad the vet has put your mind at rest. Its always a shock when you hear your pet has a problem like. I hope with medication that he will be ok for a long time. The vet wont let Daisy home yet...I really want to see her :-( 18 Apr 2008 17:24 Hayley, I am so sorry to hear about Tommy. It is so sad. At least he has been diagnosed early so will get the best treatment. I know how awful it is to get that news. The vet told me one of my cats had kidney failure last year and I was devastated. After more tests It turned out the first results were wrong...I have never been so relieved. Just look after him and give him lots of love and I hope you have lots more time together. xx 14 Apr 2008 16:29 Hi Hayley, thanks for your message. Sorry its taken me a while to reply...i've not had time to get on here lately. I've been busy with Daisy. She has her op next Monday. Every time I hear that Leona Lewis song I think of Munchkin too. I still miss him a lot. The others keep me busy though. Anyway, how is everything with you and your fur babies? xx My Forum Discussions | My Human Friends 20 Friends You must log in to ask or accept friendship. |
