My cat Boris has started to lick the artificial coals from our gas fire and also likes to eat his litter ( which we keep in the garage for times when he needs it - and he has found) I mentioned this to our vet but he says it is nothing to worry about. I had a look at your website and was really interested to see herbal remedies for pets. I will certainly bare that in mind for future references. I myself am studying the Bach Flowers remedies (human side) but will go to Wales in June to learn the Bach remedies for animals.
