Cassie, thank you so much for your kind message re: my accident. My husband Paul is taking good care of me and our animals. I don't get online much, but I type with my left hand when I can. Hi Cassie ~ thank you for your message. I love your photo's here by the way. My husband and I started rescuing Ferrets ten years ago, when we realised that there are lots of them being bred and then unwanted, and so we took them in, and had the hobs castrated when the time came around. We used to have the jills spayed, but then we found that a jill jab once a year when they are in season is far better for the jill's, and they live longer and they are healthier than when spayed, for some unknown reason! We had 60 Ferrets at one time, and then we found good, loving homes for many of them, and we now have just 20 pets of our own. I took the Fancy Rat girls in from another lady who had too many animals to care for, just over a year ago and we have three as three sadly died. Best Wishes, Janet x

Hi Cassie ~ thank you for being my friend here on PetStreet. I love all animals and birds with a passion, and I used to ride but haven't ridden in many years now. My husband Paul and I have two rescue dogs, Billy who is just 3 years old and Bobby who will be 6 in March. We have rescued Ferrets and Polecats for the past ten years, and we also have 3 Fancy Rex Rat girls, and two Guinea Pigs. If we had more room, then there would be even more animals and they are our family. We live in the North West of England, and don't actually go on holiday because of caring for all of our animals. I do some pet sitting for friends, and at the moment I am caring for a Staffie, Amber who is 7 and a Staffie puppy of 14 weeks.
