Password (for your eyes only) | My Interests My Message Wall  22 Jan 2008 10:30 oh emma, i'm sorry to hear about your gerbil incident. i had a similar incident with one of my poor hamsters. my hubby forgot to lock his cage one night and the poor little monkey made the mistake of coming upstairs into the land of kenny cat! kenny thought he was a fab new toy, unfortunately he broke the poor hammies back and he had to be put to sleep! i felt awful about it, still do. unfortunately mistakes and accidents do happen. raystede (where i got the hamster from) were really kind about it and said that they knew that we had given the hamster a really nice life as i'm sure you do with your gerbils, and that was the thing to concentrate on. 15 Jan 2008 13:40 Hi Emma, ahh...i love giles :-) buffy truly is one of my biggest passions! how sad! i can't get enough of it. i have them all on dvd and when i finish the last one i just start again at the beginning, i put an episode on whenever i can't find anything else on tv or just whenever i fancy it - its brilliant hangover tv! can't tell you how many times i've watched the whole series! that picture of the cats watching betty (my first hamster) was the only way i could get the cats to tolerate being near each other! fudge (the small tortoiseshell) hates kenny! that was the closest they had ever been at the time without her growling and running away! fudge generally doesn't take much notice of the hamster and / or rats. i had the hamster out on the sofa the other day and fudgie was lying next to me, she didn't bat an eyelid. kenny however, is very interested in the hamster and sits and watches him in his run for hours! he's a bit more nervous of the rats though, they are MUCH bigger and scare him a little bit! haha 11 Jan 2008 10:52 haha! how observant...sorry, only just noticed your pets names too..am guessing you are a buffy fan - me too :-) 11 Jan 2008 10:51 just replied to your behaviourist post on the forum and thought i'd stop buy your page to say hello and my god your cats are cute! they both look very similar to my kenny cat!!  05 Jan 2008 20:59 Hi Emma Tryed to help you out with your question on the cat forum! hope it help a bit so you dont worry to much!
