My Interests
Animals, obviously ! I'm always happy to adopt any unwanted animals, though can't drive so they have to be within bus reach, or brought to me. Any spare cages you don't want any more, gratefully accepted.
Apart from that I'm into tv/films, especially comedy, fashion/dressmaking, reading, sleeping and seeing friends.

Hi Vikki, sorry for the delay in getting backing to you. Kinda forgot I had a page here :)
In all my years of keeping repltiles, I have never had a better lizard than my Giant Day Gecko (Phelsuma Madagascariensis Grandis), think I spelt that right :)
Easy to keep, easy to train and easy to feed.
Mine was kept in a 4ftx3ftx1.5ft viv. If you were only keeping 1 (i advise a male) a viv smaller would be fine. Needs plenty of branches and plants. And likes a little humidity. Eats crickets, small hoppers and needs fresh veg/fruit once or twice a week. Mine loved baby food, seriously. The staff in the local shop thought it was hilarious "I didn't know u had a baby.."....."erm I dont, its for my Gecko" lol.
If you have any other questions, just ask. Neil

Hi Vikki, i wondered how you and the poor doggy were getting on. I just saw that you had left a post a while ago.
You don't have to pay for the prescription from the vet, legally he has to give you it. It is just like the doc, he doesn't charge you for the script to go to the chemist.
I reluctantly read your post to be honest, because it is awful to read about how much pain that poor dog is in. To be honest, if they are not going to try to keep her pain free, then they should do the decent thing and have her Put to sleep. Sorry, harsh i know, but she deserves to be pain free.
Anything you say, i think, is just going to be shot down. Miss know it all will see to that I think.
Can you not have a word with the vet on the quiet and ask what he thinks and perhaps use his influence.
take care

Hi there Vicky,

Mum has just read your message to us...she is very slack at times (LOL).
I am a white eyed conure and was rescued from a pitiful state by mum and now have full green plumage.
I haven't got a name and nor have the cockatiels or last remaining two budgies,as we lost our little white hen budgie today sadly.
Mum is running the avairy down now,so as we slowly pop off one by one,we are not being replaced...but us last few have no intention of going anywhere yet,in a hurry (ha-ha-ha).

Take care now,
Love
The Aviary Lot.
