I am hoping to adopt a 2 year old male Burmese cat, currently at my local shelter. He is described by Cats Protection as suffering from "occasional mild irritable bowel syndrome". I have been trying to research what this might mean in practical terms. Since it seems to be stress-related, have you any ideas about helping him with stress? He has come from a home where he wasn't very well treated.
