Go to amazon.com & type in 300 spartans (it's the 1962 egan film...)
Hammie is away a lot (filming,etc.) so we don't see much of him...Go to youtube & type in "hamster football" to see him as a stunt-double....

how i learn all my dogs
over the years is
as soon as they have had food
id pick him up
get his paw and scratch the door with it
then let him outside
then id wait to see if he had done his bussiness
id praise him and let him in
i did this every time
then eventually
he scratch the door himself and sit there till you opened the door for him
if they had made a mess in the house
i would tell them of in a stern voice naughty naughty
then put him outside for a couple of mins
then let him in
it work for me
i never smack them though

He's an absolute cutie!!you shouldn't limit the food he eats though,he will get used to this and rush his food,he may also become protective of his bowl which will lead to him biting whoever goes near it which isn't good and he may start to protect other things,what motivates him?is it treats or praise or toys etc?whatever gets his attention the most is the method of praise you should give him,treats shouldn't really be given as puppies tend to go to the toilet alot and treats should be limited so maybe alot of fuss and throwing a ball for him a few times could would be more beneficial,you also need to make sure the smell is out of your carpet completely,as dogs have a good sense of smell and you may not be able to smell his business but the chances are he can so he'll always go back to it and soil it good luck xx xx hope it helps xx
