I'm so sorry I took so long to write. Especially since those funny e-mails really made my mornings. Got so much work at the moment I don't know where to start sometimes. There's a lot to do outside (garden, yard, horses fields and so on), school is taking up a lot of time at the moment, my sister asked me to correct her diploma-work (nearly 100 pages) before she sends it in and I'm having some guest-horses to look after. When I finally drop on the sofa in the evenings, the dogs crowd around me. They feel ever so neglected at the moment and I hope this stress is going to have an end soon. How is Sykes doing? Everything alright with him or did he fall ill again? I often think of him. Give that sweety a big fat hug from me. Take care Antje 26 Apr 2007 00:25 Meant to reply a while ago. Yeah you were right, Bear is also known as Ragley. Hope you and your boy are well. Did you have any luck getting hold of Lily Allen. Personally, I don't really think your breed has a bad name, not up here anyway. I certainly have never met a mean one. I suppose Dobermanns have the same sort of rep. to be honest I just get on with it. I do encourage people to say hi to Cara if they seem a bit nervous of her but if they don't want to that's fine too. You will never change some of these narrow minded people. It's their loss really isn't it. luv Siobhan x 22 Apr 2007 20:53 Thanks so much for your messages. Chris from Dragon rang me on Friday when I was on the train (going away for a riding weekend booked a long time ago). He had scanned Monty and found no internal injuries. So I can bring him home as soon as the vet opens tomorrow. Then sooner or later I will have to nerve myself to let me go out again... Cx 20 Apr 2007 11:43 Monty is still at Dragon Vets and will be there all weekend. They are scanning him later today to see if he has any internal injuries. Hopefully not, but Chris says he feels even if there are, Monty's condition isn't life-threatening. Cx 19 Apr 2007 22:00 Hi Wendy, just got back from my dinner invitation. It was exactly what I needed. Good food, good company and just getting away from the every day trott for a couple of hours. I had to laugh when you wrote about Sykes being a couch potatoe. While I'm writing, Clärchen is laying 2 m away from me on the couch fast asleep. Krümel is laying just round the corner on the couch in the hall fast asleep. The only one not occupying my couches is Lucky but she's not a bullie, is she. I'm glad I got your e-mail-ad. We can swop pics now and again if you like. Makes it easy, doesn't it. How about Sykes. Have those injections done a good job so far? I really hope so and still keep my fingers crossed for him. I'm so glad I never had any problems with Clärchen and Krümel. Clärchen broke her ulna once when she was little. She kept on running and playing, just limping a bit, so I treated her myself, believing, she had just twisted her leg a little. When she hadn't stopped limping after a week I took her to my vet for x-ray and you could see the bone had been broken but had healed so well my vet didn't have to do anything about it. But I felt really bad after that for not having noticed how bad it really was. So I can imagine how you must feel about Sykes not being well. I must finish, I'm off to school tomorrow and I still haven't finished this paper. It's eleven p.m. and it's going to be far after midnight by the time I'm finished. I just hope I'll be getting out of bed in time in the morning. Sleep well, biiiiiiiig hug for Sykes Antjexxx 19 Apr 2007 19:45 we went for a long walk into the country and in the afternoon fergus slept for most of it , he doesnt really like the heat and it was quiete warm here today , robert x 18 Apr 2007 15:18 Hi Wendy, Thanks so much for your message. Yes - Bear, Ragley - all one and the same. He is actually my mother's dog - she is just hopeless and although has a computer, doesn't use it.... And posting that message with a picture of me as Kate Moss on a horse wasn't really going to make any more sense either! Siobhan has been great. It is so kind of her to do this. When I told her about the stroke she was hilarious! She said she was as amazed as anyone else. Nutter, she is obviously really talented (if that is the right word?) she just needs to know it a bit more! Cx 16 Apr 2007 00:27 Hi Wendy I'm glad Sykes' infection is better and hope the injections for his joints are going well. I'm taking Monty back to Dragon Vet today for his check up. I think Chris will be pleased with him - he's getting a lot of muscle from running around the garden with Leo! Cassie x | My Human Friends 11 Friends You must log in to ask or accept friendship. |
