My Interests
Hello,
I am a student studying Palaeobiology.
Ever since a kid i have been fascinated by snakes. But like so many children i wasn't allowed one due to my parents misunderstanding these fantastic creatures. So once i left home guess what i got? Yup thats right a pet snake. The first one i post here is a 6 month old Female cornsnake called Cornflake. Hopefully i can shed some light on these wonderful pets and put some rumours that prevent people from keeping them to rest.
I'm happy to answer any questions people may ask about snakes so shoot.
I'm also setting up leopard gecko breeding program. I'll try and keep this page updated so keep checkin back.

I'm also very much driven by reason and logic and i am a big fan of prof richard dawkins. This may conflict a tiny bit with some members here as i know that there are a lot of animal 'healers' and 'mediums' etc on thi site.

Nothing interesting at all chum. Still the same old routine, all work and no play. Was in Italy there at the end of Feb for snowboarding. Excellent time, meant that I had to arrange for the parentals to come over and look after everything though. It's still funny watching them trying not to touch the locusts and crickets. Apart from that all is the same over here. Hows life with yourself ? Studying hard ?

Long time no speak :)
Fantastic pics of the Leo's matey. I'm thinking of getting a pair of Australian Barking Geckos, do you know anyone who has kept them before ?

I thought the Carolinas were the normal cornsnakes, like you find in the wild ? I've got Tinysnake down to eating every 2 weeks now, and he's just had his very first shed. Though I was feeding Herman the other day, he grabbed the mouse and was swallowing it, and then I turned back round to see if he'd eaten it, and he was completely still with his jaws wide open and I didn't know why. The mouse was in his throat by this time, but when I turned round again, he'd somehow managed to spit it out. I think he tasted the calcium powder and didn't like it, but I have no idea how he got it out, the mouse fills his throat and he's not big enough to move on to the next size of mouse yet.

Thanks, yeh they're just normal Carolina ones. I've never known anyone like their colours ! My sister's got an amel but I'm not keen on the red eyes. I love the anerythristics though. Still, Herman and Tiny are cute enough. Herman's just shed so his colours are really bright, I've noticed he's gotten brighter and brighter after every shed, as he's got older. Have you noticed that with yours ? Is she a normal Carolina ?
