Thanks for asking. 17 Aug 2008 18:53 Hi Greywolf sorry to hear about Tiny hope he is ok and this doesnt set him back any I remember Tammy being attacked by a dog when walking past a garden he jumped the fence and attacked for no reason an punctured her side she was ok but wouldnt have anything to do with dogs after that she was always scared and missed out on so much it was always just her and me.Best wishes Liz. 17 Aug 2008 08:12 Tiny was attacked by a pitbull on saturday. Fortunatly she has only sustained puncture wounds on her tail and hip and a grazed and bruised area at the side of her kneck and mouth. My daughter was taking her for a short walk when the dog jumped the fence of it´s garden and attacked Tiny. The owner, thankfully, came rushing out and managed to get the dog off Tiny before any real damage could be done. After cleaning Tiny up to see the damage and talking to her vet, I went round to confront the owner he informed me that his dog had become incrasingly more viciouse over the past few months and as Tiny was the 4th dog it had attacked was going to ´get rid of it before it attacked a person´, he then offered to pay any vet fees that we might get if Tiny needed a vets attention. I´ve never been so angry and scared, my daughter was terrified and Tiny´s back end was covered in blood. Luckily they are only puncture wounds and the vet says that they should heal well. 30 Jul 2008 15:55 Hi Greywolf, no need to apologise l realise you have a lot of responsibility looking after your oh! and its only right that they come first l was trying to get New Comers involved that´s why i put on the weekend post, l know what commitments you have, and its appreciated that you DO take time to come on when possible and join in. take care love to all . Tiny is still very boney and the vet has given her some antiinflammatories to help her joints. I´ll put her back on the evening primrose oil as well as the keeping the cod liver oil in her diet. (I didn´t know she could have both). We are keeping her on the 4 small meals a day that was reccommended by Dogs Trust. Thank you for your time and advice.
