I have cared for many many animals during my lifetime and for the past twenty years or so have been mainly interested in the re-homing of Samoyed dogs. These dogs are often bought by people that see them as a fashion accessory so when the have had them for a while realise that there is actuallly quite a lot of work involved in their upkeep and they lose interest.
I have had Three so far, still got two and they are both getting on now but they are still my lovable rogues. I also carry out home checks in the South West for prospective families wishing to take on these beautifull dogs on behalf of The Samoyed Rescue Society based in Nottingham.
At home also is my lovable moggie Reggie, another rescue who keeps White Fang and Tammy in check and if i´m honest Rules the house !!!
My newest addition to the household is my fieldmouse that moved in for the winter behind the dishwasher ,so is another mouth to feed. He does not seem to wander around the kitchen at all so Eric the Mouse is welcome to stay !!!
( Update) Caught Eric in a humane trap and sent him packing to the bottom of the garden. That evening whilst sitting watching TV ,out of the corner of my eye I caught sight of Eric boldly walking back in and went straight back to his home behind the dishwasher where he awaits his food every evening and he won´t go back into the trap again either.
