I thought when i looked at your wall how much Diesel and Teddy are alike, How old is he and where did you get him from.?

oh deary me, seems you`ve been thru the mill too with aggressive dogs. Does make me wonder what sorta life they had .
A friend of mind picked a stray jack russell up the other week and he was snapping too, eventually he bit my friend quiet badly so she had to let the wardens take him. Can only do so much , once a situation becomes dangerous , theres not much good going to come of it, but at least we tried !
I no longer see Ruby, dont really have a friendship with my ex, we pass messages occassionally, and send pics of the dogs, but thats all, dont live close anymore either. Have to say it broke my heart losing Ruby , but took comfort knowing she is in good hands and is happy where she is, being looked after etc.

Gosh, how emotional to have to put ur beloved pet to sleep. But I would have done the same thing, you can´t put yourself at risk for a dog. And sorry to hear about Ruby, do you still see her.
I once tried to help a troubled bored collie x springer spaniel that i rescued from a small organisation near us.
She was so badly abused she hated going out of the house and would go completly mad at any kind of noise like a car whizzing past. I tried to help her but due to her having such high energy and hating going out all her pent up energy just ended up in aggression.
After 3 weeks it was impossible to be around her without her trying to bite you. She bit me twice once when i tried to take her outside after she freaked out the first time and the second a day before we had her put to sleep when for no reason she launched herself on me and attacked me. So for the 2nd time i found myself putting a muzzle on a dog and taking her to the vets to be put to sleep.
God how upset i was.

nah i dont have any other pets of my own, did have another dog (Ruby) but she lives with my ex partner now, miss her so much but since im living at my mothers theres just no room for her, she was a biggish dog...mum has a big black dog named rover..ruby and rover are also rescue dogs. Ive always liked to give a rescue dog an home. Tho i had one (Benji) and he was troubled , had him a while he was getting worse eventually he savaged me to the pint it couldnt go on, sadly we had no choice but to have him put to sleep. Some one could of been killed with the way he was, i almost was, had i have not used some quik logical thinking. Never felt such pain pysically and emotionally at the same time :( Still love him , bless him.
Dusky hangs out a lot with Charles , my sisters dog (yes she got another, a calmer one lol) Also Dusky made a new playmate at christmas, grans yorkshire terrier (only a few months old) call him Geordie. So plenty playing going on for Dusky :) ..xx
