Hi there! I´m Pam, married to Mike and mum of two - Martha (7) and Johnny (5). I´m originally from South Manchester; born in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, lived in Brooklands, then Handforth and finally Hale Barns, near Altrincham. I moved down to London in the mid eighties to work in International Banking, then set up a recruitment agency. I met my husband in the mid nineties, retired and busied myself restoring a house we´d bought. Two children and now 2 dogs later, I´m wondering where all my time has gone!

Widget was our first family dog and he´s beyond sweet and cheeky. I don´t think I´d have been so tolerant had it been my children who´d stolen one toilet roll after another and shredded them liberally all over the house or dug a trench system worthy of the Somme in the back garden. Must be something to do with those big brown eyes of his....

Not saying there haven´t been a few hair-raising moments - he IS a terrier, after all! - but I wouldn´t have missed one minute of this adventure for the world.

Pixel - as she´s small and slightly dotty - is our new addition: a very pretty wheaten bitch of 14 months. Pixel is blonde in every stereotypical way. Blessed with looks rather than brains, she occupies most of her day lounging about just looking cute. And why not.
