Also a Green Spotted Puffer, amd several rescued fish! Buffy Puffy is a Green Spotted Puffer male. (see pic) I’m a registered breeder of Turkish Van Cats. All my cats are GCCF (Governing Council of the Cat Fancy) registered, and I am a member of the CVTA (Classic Turkish Van Cat Association), a self governing body concerned with the health and welfare of Turkish Van Cats. I have kept Turkish Vans for over 40 years, both as pets, and as show cats, and in recent years as breeding cats. All my 8 cats (4 queens, and 2 prospective queen kittens, and 1 tom kitten (16 weeks old), and 1 neutered rescue tom cat) live in the home environment; I have none housed outside, although I do have two pens with runs in my garage. These are used in the spring and summer months, to house prospective sires. But they are not housed in the pens permanently. All the kittens are found homes at no less that 12 weeks old, and go with 3 months Insurance, all jabs, and a neutering coupon provided by my local Vet. I even have a waiting list at the moment! None of my queen cats have more than two litters a year. My background is in Animal Welfare, both here in the UK and internationally, with specific interest in Canines and Equines (Donkeys). I have also been involved in rescue and rehabilitation of dogs (under the DDA) as a qualified Canine Behaviourist, and donkeys, and am at the moment involved with the trapping, neutering (and in some cases, taming) of Feral Cats and Kittens. I am also disabled, with a degenerative disease (Muscular Dystrophy), and am now a full time wheelchair user, and almost housebound. The ultimate Cat quotes: Cats are rather delicate creatures and they are subject to a good many ailments, but I never heard of one who suffered from insomnia. ~Joseph Wood Krutch The cat could very well be man´s best friend but would never stoop to admitting it. ~Doug Larson Cats can work out mathematically the exact place to sit that will cause most inconvenience. ~Pam Brown After scolding one´s cat one looks into its face and is seized by the ugly suspicion that it understood every word. And has filed it for reference. ~Charlotte Gray I had been told that the training procedure with cats was difficult. It´s not. Mine had me trained in two days. ~Bill Dana No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch. ~Leo Dworken The cat is the only animal without visible means of support who still manages to find a living in the city. ~Carl van Vechten One is never sure, watching two cats washing each other, whether it´s affection, the taste, or a trial run for the jugular. ~Helen Thomson Cats seem to go on the principle that it never does any harm to ask for what you want. ~Joseph Wood Krutch Dogs come when they´re called; cats take a message and get back to you later. ~Mary Bly In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this. ~Terry Pratchett People that hate cats will come back as mice in their next life. ~Faith Resnick Kittens are angels with whiskers. ~Author Unknown Even if you have just destroyed a Ming Vase, purr. Usually all will be forgiven. ~Lenny Rubenstein Everything I know I learned from my cat: When you´re hungry, eat. When you´re tired, nap in a sunbeam. When you go to the vet´s, pee on your owner. ~Gary Smith A cat isn´t fussy - just so long as you remember he likes his milk in the shallow, rose-patterned saucer and his fish on the blue plate. From which he will take it, and eat it off the floor. ~Arthur Bridges There is no snooze button on a cat who wants breakfast. ~Author Unknown A cat is the only domestic animal I know who toilet trains itself and does a damned impressive job of it. ~Joseph Epstein You can keep a dog; but it is the cat who keeps people, because cats find humans useful domestic animals. ~George Mikes Cat lovers can readily be identified. Their clothes always look old and well used. Their sheets look like bath towels and their bath towels look like a collection of knitting mistakes. ~Eric Gurney Dogs have owners, cats have staff. ~Author Unknown Dogs eat. Cats dine. ~Ann Taylor My Pets My Received Gifts My Message Wall 24 Nov 2010 22:05 Have you ever seen a dog as relaxed as Amigo ? http://www.petstreet.co.uk/Pet/762916.Amigo%20-%20star%20act! 22 Dec 2009 14:29 MERRY CHRISTMAS hope you have good one from me and the gang xx 14 Sep 2009 16:01 Please sign this and pass on to other people http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/CATNEUTERING/ 29 Mar 2009 10:55 Hi hun The lady you need to speak to about the allergy remerdies is called Sue, and her number is 01807 590303.
