I did receive feedback from the Royal Vetrinary College who said that the method used to fix my kitten´s leg wasn´t common practice but neither was it unusual!
After receiving a second bill for £499 from the vet in question I challenged it and they strangely nilled my account and refused to speak or write to me (I was not abusive in any way so this is why it was so odd that my account should be marked with a zero balance).
If someone owed me £500 and they refused to pay I would certainly take it as far as I could and I would only back down if I had something to hide. This is why I still uphold that there was a high degree of negligance on the vets behalf and I have made everyone I know aware that they shouldn´t take their pets to that surgery.
