Yes I am looking in my local papers and trying local estate agents. I will have a look at the websites you mentioned too.You are right about private landlords being a bit more pet friendly. I know from experience that many of the newbuild flats rented through companies say No Pets. I will keep looking anyway and steer clear of the landlady in the meantime.Yes I am keeping a log now in a notebook about the timings of her washing machine, door slamming etc.She owns the house.
