The organisation was founded in 1873 and is able to offer dog owners an unparalleled source of information, experience and advice on dog welfare, dog health, dog training and dog breeding. I have worked at the Kennel Club for some 11 years and my responsibilities are for the Marketing and Business Development for the KC, so I get involved in lots of great projects. The Kennel Club has a very broad remit from the health and welfare of dogs, to fundraising for its Charitable Trust, to helping lost pets to be reunited quickly through Petlog. The staff at the Kennel Club are very experienced and have a passion for what they do - I am proud to be a member of the team. I have two dogs that I take to fun training classes and they both got their Kennel Club Good Citizen awards (one is now going for his Gold award which is the top level -never thought we would reach that! )The dogs love going to school and it was free for me to take the tests and the trainers who are Kennel Club people have really helped lots of other owners who had problems with training.
