Hartpury is an Associate Faculty of the University of the West of England (UWE) located in the heart of Gloucestershire. It is home to a vibrant community of almost 3000 students of all ages from around 33 different countries, all with keen interest in the Animal, Equine, Land and Sports Sciences.

Working with animals, whether it is in the veterinary, biological or management area, is a popular choice for many. Hartpury has developed a wide range of further education courses as well as degree programmes to support this diverse industry, with an impressive range of facilities with dedicated academic staff and excellent links within the industry.

Hartpury offers a selection of short courses for the keen animal enthusiast, including animal days for children (8 to 14 years old), basic animal nursing, and Dog grooming.
