hey amanda again :)

chocolate! thats a new one :)

Joey is, (this is a bit of a mouth full)
he's a long eared, black masked, desert, egyption Hedgehog.
phew, long name, i think i'll stick with Joey for the time being, hehe.

we first got him with a female, and we hoped we could breed them and have more, but i think they were older than the pet shop said, so may be too old,( they were certainly pretty large when we got them.)

whenever we take him to any shows, people are quite interested, so it's good that he gets lots off attention, he doesn't mind because he's just a big softy really, most people say he looks like a bat, and he sort of does, well his face does any way :)

your hedgehogs must be very tame to pose like that, hehe.

have you ever found that when you have a hedgehog, and you're trying to demonstrate how it curls up, if its very friendly, it wont curl up even if you tickle it ?

hi,
my name is Amanda Dray and my mom breeds african pygmy hedgehogs, apart from my cousins i didn't know of anyone who has them, but... found some one:)
believe it or not our first hedgehog was called Spike, and recently one called Bramble:)

how long have you had them for? and how many colours do you have?, we currently have some dark and light apricot, salt and pepper, albino and possibly snowflakes. these are just names that we use for their colours, you might have different ones:)

the photos are soo cute, ours just wriggle all over the place (not very photogenic i don't think)
