Sorry ive been away for a while. Been very busy moving house and starting a degree. Its taken a while for the cats to settle in and the newest edition to our family didnt cope so well. Lots of pulling out hair and very nervous behavoiur. But i think they are all settled now. How is everyone? xxx

Gosh! You´ve really been through the mill! At least you´re on the mend now. Take it easy and give yourself a lot of love. Did you like my profile picture of the two old people? Clever, isn´t it! The front of the people´s faces turn out to be young people! My other illusion pics are on the Icons Revealed.

Hi Charlene! How are you? Sorry I haven´t spoken in ages. How is everything? Fizzigig looks like Thomas and if you go to my profile, you can look at my photo album and finally see what my cats look like, plus see what I look like! The glasses is a new thing! Hope to hear from you soon. Give the cats a cuddle please for me. Diane xxx

Hi Charlene,

re the frog... Poor little thing. Unfortunately, a lot of them are caught by cats.
If its skin was punctured by the cats teeth, it´s likely (though not inevitable) that infection is already in its system. There isnt a lot you can do about that, sadly.
You done exactly the right thing with him & dont worry about the chlorine as it will have dispersed by now.
He must have come from somewhere local but, having said that, frogs do travel quite long distances.
If you still have him, try & find out who has a pond in your locality so that he can be returned - he will recover much better in his own territory. If this isnt possible & IF he seems to be ok, take him to the nearest still, clean water like a park pond, lake etc & let him go in the grass nearby.
He will find his own way from there & the best place for him is back in the wild.
I dont know where abouts you live but there is a wildlife hospital/sanctuary in Leatherhead, Surrey that has had success with treating wild frogs.
Hope this helps & thanks for rescuing him.
