Password (for your eyes only) Would you like to receive the site newsletter?: Yes Max emails received per day (Please note this does limit notifications of friend requests, wall post notifications, in-site email notifications or the newsletter) 15 | My Interests Hi all,New to this but always interested in others who love animals as much as I do.I have recently lost my beloved little Jack Russell called Judy,she was a rescue dog who had been very badly treated but we spent 13 years making up for all the cruelty she´d suffered.She had many,many health problems over the last 5 years and we spent many hours at our vets.The staff became our friends and when she could not fight anymore,they helped us get through the pain.Having lost loved pets before,we knew how badly we would feel but nothing prepared us for the depth of despair we went through in that first week.We just existed and nothing took away the pain.I could not face being in an empty house so we went to a local animals rescue centre looking for a cat who desperately needed a home,not a kitten or a cute cat but one who for some reason had not appealed to anyone.We are now owned by Socks,a black and white female,2 years old.She is timid and small and does not know how to play,so have spent many hours petting and convincing her that we love her.She had just started to respond when we had to take her back to have her 2nd innoc yesterday.We are now really concerned because she has had an unusual reaction to the vac,she has stopped eating,drinking and has not left her basket.The rescue centre told us that some cats do react like this.Does anyone else know that this is true? we feel that we have made her ill so it´s our fault.Just thought it might make me feel better to share my concerns and perhaps get some reassuring feed back from others.
