I definately have the same problem with the curling up thing. The only time they will really do it now is if I have to take them to the vet. Bracken on her first visit balled up and refused to come out, The second time she went she was good as gold. Bramble on the other hand will uncurl as long as the vets not watching!! I think a lot of people class the chocolate colour as salt and pepper, thats what he was originally registered as.

Hi Nice to see another person that's into hedgies. I currently have a silver charcoal snowflake female (bracken), and a chocolate male (bramble). I got my male early last year and the female about july last year. They had their first litter in February, 3 in total 1 chocolate, 1 dark grey flake and one brown (he's called Spike and in on here somewhere too) all boys. I'm just in the process of matng them up again so hopefully I'll get some females this time. Your hedgies look gorgeous. What type is Joey he looks so cute?

Hi Amanda,

Thanks for your message! Ferrets aren't hard to look after as such but they do like to spend time with you and play so they need your attention. They are very clean and tidy though so are perfect from that perspective!

I love your pictures, they are all adorable but the pictures of Joey are especially fantastic. What a little cutie - do hedgehogs tend to be affectionate?

Cheers,

Laura.
