Life with a dog

I have come across two quotes from Roger Caras that I think are great.

"If you don't own a dog, at least one, there is not necessarily anything wrong with you, but there may be something wrong with your life."

"Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole."

I think that could be extended to other pets too. They give us so much, and expect so little in return.
