My blog Elvis ChewingElvis is driving me mad! he keeps chewing the plastic ends to the tubes in his cage that lead from the top of the cage to the bottom! little bugger. i have given him all sorts of different alternative wooden things to chew but no...he HAS to chew the plastic! am sure he must be ingesting some of it which can't be good for him! if anyone has any ideas on how to get him to stop this and chew something better for him i'd love to hear them!  Comments  05 Aug 2007 22:26 Hey Sarah! You're not bothering me! Well, their are several brands you could try. 'Ropel animal, rodent and bird repellent' is one that I found on the net. Your local pet shop may well sell one in the dog stuff section, which will say in the small print that it is suitable for small animals too. I think 'Johnsons Anti-chew repellent' is one.
